What We Stock

We currently offer a mixed load as standard, which contains both hard and soft woods. All our logs are air dried in our timber barn, for approximatly 12 months and the moisture content is checked before delivery to ensure they are ideal for burning.

Whilst we endevour to cater for all our clients requirements, our stock of logs is always changing depending on the seasons and the demand.

 

Delivery

We try our best to keep additional cost to a minimum, we dislike hidden costs as much as you!

As such our delivery fee is based on zoning as detailed below;

• Zone 1 - Free Delivery - Within 10 miles

• Zone 2 - £4 - Within 15 miles

• Zone 3 - £8 - Within 20 miles

• For delivery outside 20 miles please contact us to discuss an appropriate solution.

Wood as a fuel source

In recent years wood burners and open fires have had a huge resurgence in popularity. There are multiple benifits to burning wood over other fuels, namely the environmental impact, or the lack of it!

Burning wood is a carbon neutral alternative to heating your home. While a tree grows it absorbs carbon dioxide, when the tree is burnt, it releases this carbon dioxide. The whole process means there is no net increase in the amount of CO2 being released into the atmosphere, thus wood burning stoves are considered to be environmentally friendly.
